Description

A 55-attorney full-service AV-Rated law firm has immediate need in our Orlando office for a Guardianship Associate to focus primarily on complex guardianship work for high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years strong guardianship, special needs estate planning experience, Medicaid planning experience, strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Must have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable interacting with clients, be a team player and have strong ability to multi-task. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload from start to finish.
• Intake and Consultations.
• Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings.
• Managing clients’ expectations and returning all calls within 24 hours during the   week.
• Court appearances in the Orlando area and throughout Florida, if necessary.
• Networking and building relationships to grow the business.

Requirements:

• Florida bar license.
• Minimum 5-10 years of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning, and/or Estate Planning experience with a focus on special needs planning.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow through with assignments.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Adapt well to change and maintain a positive attitude under stress.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused on the most important and urgent issues.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to our core values.
• Some Litigation experience preferred.
