Description
Our Johnstown, Pennsylvania law firm is looking for a new attorney (new graduate to 3 years' experience) to focus their practice on business, municipal, and estate planning areas of the law. The attorney will be responsible for performing work on civil, business, estates and trusts matters, including meeting with clients, drafting and filing legal documents, attending and participating in court hearings, and communicating with various parties, including other attorneys and clients. Our billable hour requirement of 1,200 hours annually allows you to have a life outside of the office. Starting salary range is competitive, depending on experience, plus possible supplemental commission pay.

Requirements
Candidates should have focused their law school classes, or prior practice, on business, estate planning and trusts and/or civil procedure. Familiarity with litigation software systems is preferred but not required. Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with the ability to work independently on the day-to-day management of files, while supporting Partners within the Firm. Candidates should be able to easily transition between various practice areas. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented. A successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills, along with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or preparing to take Pennsylvania Bar exam. Compensation based upon experience. Full benefits package offered.
